Francophone Africa Business Forum (FAB Forum)

The CFC participated in the Francophone Africa Business Forum (FAB Forum) organised by the Netherlands-Africa Business Council (NABC). The Chief Operations Officer of the CFC made a presentation stating:
“Agricultural entrepreneurs often mention ‘access to finance’ as one of their main challenges. This is also a reality in Francophone Africa. During this workshop, hosted in cooperation with the Common Fund for Commodities, we shall look at the latest trends in agri-financing. The workshop will be co-hosted by Financial Access, one of the key Dutch players in the field of access to finance in Africa. “
The nature and scope of CFC financings was explained to the interested participants of the workshop. The COO responded to all questions raised by agricultural entrepreneurs and other interested attendants from private and public sector.
