CFC Annual Report 2018
The year 2018 has been full of new initiatives and discussions in a range of subjects covering commodities and their impact on producing and consuming countries, while assessing proposals received under the Open Call for proposals. The focus has been on new activities which are aligned with the CFC’s vision of the role of commodities as the foundation of the economic development for the poor.
Implementation of Projects remains the core function of the Common Fund for Commodities. In this edition of the Annual Report, we have three topical studies looking into issues attracting increasing attention of countries, impact investors and commodity sector stakeholders. The topics covered are:
- Gender lens impact investing;
- The impact of voluntary sustainability standards,
- The Fourth Industrial Revolution.
