Ambassador of the Republic of Ecuador visits CFC
28 August 2020, Amsterdam. H.E. Mr. Andrés Terán Parral, Ambassador of the Republic of Ecuador to the Netherlands, is seen with Managing Director Ambassador Sheikh Mohammed Belal at the Secretariat of the CFC. H.E. Mr. Terán came to visit CFC for the first time to know more about the activities of the CFC and its impact on the ground.
His Excellency was accompanied by Mr. Nicolás E. Ortiz Marín, Legal and Multilateral Affairs Adviser at the Embassy. Ambassador Belal was accompanied by Mr. Hector Besong, Portfolio and Risk Manager.
During their discussion, Ambassador Terán reaffirmed the support of the government of Ecuador for the CFC and the wish to see more projects for his country in the future, in particular in exploring the Avocado value chain. In response, Ambassador Belal, Managing Director, while thanking Ambassador Terán for their reassurance of support, urged them to disseminate the information of ongoing call for proposals by CFC so that qualified SMEs/enterprises could submit quality projects from Ecuador for consideration by the Executive Board of CFC.
