Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Nigeria visits CFC
H.E. Mr. Oji N. Ngofa, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to the Netherlands, is seen with Managing Director Ambassador Sheikh Mohammed Belal at the Secretariat of the CFC. H.E. Mr. Ngofa came to visit CFC for the first time to know more about the activities of the CFC and its impact on the ground.
During the discussion, Ambassador Belal briefed Ambassador Ngofa on the current as well as probable future initiatives of the CFC. Considering the setback we all have been enduring due to COVID-19 pandemic, Ambassador Belal wished to see more working relations and partnership with the countries in the days to come. Appreciating Nigeria’s support for the organization, Ambassador Belal urged Ambssador Ngofa’s assistance to disseminate the information on the ongoing call for proposals by CFC so that qualified SMEs/enterprises could submit quality projects from Nigeria for consideration by the Executive Board of CFC.
While appreciating CFC’s partnership with the private sector, Ambassador Ngofa also urged CFC to consider more partnership with either government funded or guaranteed projects in the future. Ambassador Ngofa volunteered to connect CFC with the state governments in Nigeria, on his return to Nigeria after end of his tenure in the Netherlands, who have significant experiences in the business of certain commodities. Ambassador Belal thanked the Ambassador Ngofa for his proactive assurances of support and assistance for the CFC.
