While microfinance institutions are to be the major group of clients, agRIF will also invest in small banks, agricultural leasing companies and other financial intermediaries to the agricultural sector down to subsistence farmer level with individual loan size below USD 1,000. Up to 10% of its funds are allocated to debt financing of producer organisations and SMEs working in the agricultural value chains. agRIF is managed by Incofin Investment Management.
