66th Meeting of the Executive Board
The Executive Board of the Common Fund for Commodities met in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, on 10 October 2018 to review operational issues, financial and administrative matters and other relevant issues to make recommendations for approval of the Governing Council, the highest policy-making body of the Common Fund.
Mr. Nagi Iskander Awad Masoud, Agricultural Attaché Counsellor, Economic Affairs, Embassy of Sudan, Chairperson of the Executive Board for 2018-2019 opened the meeting. The Managing Director welcomed all Executive Directors, Alternates and Advisers. He further welcomed Mr. Frederick Edward Mwesigye, Chairperson of the Consultative Committee, and Mr. Walid Mehalaine, who represents the OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID), as Observers to the meeting.
The Executive Board reviewed 28 agenda items during the meeting and approved 2 regular project proposals for financing.
The 66th Meeting of the Executive Board was preceded on 9 October 2018 by a preparatory meeting intended for discussion of the Executive Board agenda items pertaining to Operations, in particular to project proposals.
