Farewell visit of Ambassador of Argentina to the CFC
Amsterdam, 03 March 2025. H.E. Mario Javier Agustín Oyarzábal, Ambassador of the Argentine Republic to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, is seen with the Managing Director, Ambassador Sheikh Mohammed Belal, at the Secretariat of the CFC. Ambassador Oyarzábal came for a farewell visit before leaving the Netherlands.
During his visit, Ambassador Oyarzábal, former Chairperson of the CFC’s Governing Council in 2021 and 2022, reaffirmed his commitment to remain engaged with the CFC even after leaving the Netherlands. He expressed his belief in the importance of ongoing cooperation between the CFC and its stakeholders to address the challenges faced by commodity smallholders worldwide.
Ambassador Oyarzábal emphasized the significance of strengthening the relationship between the CFC and the private sector. He highlighted the potential for collaboration between these entities to improve the livelihoods of commodity smallholders and promote sustainable development in commodity-dependent economies.
As he concludes his tenure in the Netherlands, Ambassador Oyarzábal expressed his appreciation for the meaningful partnership with the CFC and his optimism for continued collaboration in the years to come.
Ambassador Belal assured to pursue more innovative outreach in the days to come to make the services of CFC available to the affected communities across the world.
