EcoEnterprises Fund III

The EcoEnterprises Fund III (EcoE III) is an impact investing fund that invests in Latin American SMEs which source raw material from collectors or smallholder farmers for value added processing. The target sectors are sustainable agriculture, agro-forestry, aquaculture, and wild- harvested forest products. EcoE III seeks to invest in growing companies that cater to increasing demands for organic food products and certified wood in the US.

The CFC has become a shareholder of EcoE III at its first closure in late 2018. EcoE III is expected to make 18 long-term capital investments, size between USD 2-6 million, within an average duration of 6-8 years. EcoE III aims at the creation of at least 5,000 jobs and to connect 25,000 small-scale producers.
