International Seminar on Jute and Allied Fibres in Dhaka
The Common Fund and the International Jute Study Group (IJSG) will organize an international seminar on R&D drivers in the jute and allied fibres sector in Dhaka, June 8-9 2011. The programme and guidelines for Call for Papers can be accessed here.
The Dhaka seminar will provide a unique opportunity and platform the stakeholders in the sector to discuss national and international perspectives; as well as other aspects of jute and allied fibres from reaserch application, production and marketing. Various long term issues, such as sustainability, growth and development and private-public partnerships will be on the agenda.
